Min and Bill's Fifth Anniversary Trip

The Prelude, on this page, includes the events leading up to the trip.

Part One covers our trip down and the first two days of our stay. It includes dinner at Landry's Seafood House, a visit to Disney Studios, dinner at Boma, a visit to the Magic Kingdom, breakfast at Crystal Palace, a visit to Epcot and dinner at the Garden Grill.

Part Two covers the last two days of our trip. It includes a visit to Animal Kingdom, breakfast at Donald's Breakfastosaurus, our anniversary dinner at California Grill, a visit to Downtown Disney and lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.

Prelude

This trip is to celebrate our fifth anniversary. WOW! We made it this far.

Yep, we have... five years... I think the key was lots of love and lots of trips to Walt Disney World...  :)

We had originally planned on starting our trip on Saturday, June 4 and staying the whole week. We were going to try and see some of out RADP friends who were going to be there the first week of June as well as celebrating our anniversary, but then my car blew its engine Easter weekend. We had to re-arrange our budget to get a new engine for the car at the cost of some of the days from our trip.

Actually both cars died... one on Easter weekend, the other a few days later... Min ended up spending a week with her parents since they live close to where she was working and I grew pretty familiar with the Jacksonville bus system...

Our re-evaluated plan cut out our overlap with our RADP friends' trips and left us with three park days for our anniversary celebration before our seasonal passes went into the summer blackout period.

Hopefully we will get to see our friends later in the year at the RADP meet in December...

On Monday June 6, Bill came home from work and said he had decided we should go down to Orlando tomorrow after he got off work rather than going down Wednesday morning.

Yep... didn't want to drive down then hit the parks without a little rest before we did... now we can go down to Orlando... get a good night's rest then start our park hopping rested and ready...

I booked us a room off property for Tuesday night.
