Pre-Trip Plan

We will be arriving at the Wilderness Lodge Animal Kingdom Lodge around noon on Sunday, October 19th. After getting settled in and resting up, we will be heading over to Epcot. We are planning on going to the informal meet with the Debs and Dottie from AllEars/WDWIG at the FountainView Cafe. We have dinner plans at L'Originale Alfredo of Rome. Neither one of us has eaten there before. The reviews I have read have been very mixed. Some people have had good food but poor service and some just the opposite. I love Italian food, so we are hoping for the best on our visit. We have dinner plans at Garden Grill. We have eaten there several times and really enjoy it. Then we will end the evening with IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.

On Monday, we will be having breakfast at Donald's Breakfastosaurus in Animal Kingdom. After breakfast, I am planning to get an "It’s My Birthday" button. Then we will spend some time at the park. I am planning to ride the Kali Water Rapids ride, no chickening out this time. Then we will go back to the hotel and rest. We have dinner plans at Fulton’s Crab House in Downtown Disney. Afterwards, we are planning to visit the Adventure’s Club for the first time. We have dinner plans at Biergarten in Germany and once again we will be ending our evening with IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. We both love this show.

Tuesday will find us having breakfast at Cape May Cafe, one of our favorite character breakfasts. We will spend the morning at Disney Studios. I will be getting another "It’s My Birthday" button. After our afternoon break, we will be heading over to Epcot. we will be heading over to Magic Kingdom. We have dinner plans at Biergarten and will be watching  IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth for our second time on this trip. If we get there early enough, we are planning on catching the Share a Dream Come True parade. We have a PS for dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern. After dinner, it will be SpectroMagic and our first look at the new Wishes fireworks show.

Wednesday, October 22, 2003 is my 30th birthday. We will have breakfast at Crystal Palace with Pooh and the gang. I will get an "It’s My Birthday" button at the Magic Kingdom where we will be spending the early part of the day. We will be going to Disney Studios later in the day. We have dinner plans for Mama Melrose and then will be watching Fantasmic. Neither of us has seen this show. I have read stories and everyone loves it, so I know that my birthday will have a very special Disney ending.

On Thursday, we be having breakfast at Boma. We are planning for a day of rest and maybe some pool time if it is not too cool out. Who knows what we might do. That night we have plans for dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern Fulton’s Crab House. The evening will come to an end with our first visit to the Adventurers Club in Downtown Disney.

On Friday, we have tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. We will be having breakfast at Chef Mickey’s. We are going to catch the monorail to Epcot and spend the early part of the day there. Then we plan on spending the afternoon hanging around the hotel and resting before going to dinner at the California Grill. Afterwards, it is on to Magic Kingdom for the party. I am not sure if we will be dressing up in costumes or just wearing matching shirts again.

Saturday, will find us having breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. We plan on spending some time at Epcot before heading over to Animal Kingdom. When AK closes we will be heading over to Boma for dinner. Since we have scheduled an early dinner, we are hoping to be finished in time to hop over to Epcot again, as it will be our last chance to see IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth on this trip.

Sunday is our final day. We are planning on heading over to Downtown Disney. We will be going to DisneyQuest and then doing some shopping. We are planning on eating lunch at either the House of Blues or Rainforest Cafe before getting on the road.
